1973 Honda CB750K SOHC Urban Scrambler
The Urban Scrambler Project
We sourced this bike several years ago from an instructor at a well known and accredited Motorcycle mechanics institute here in Florida. Due to several client builds/projects, we had to put this build on hold for a few years. Well, we finally had a window to complete this custom bike. Our plan was to transform her in to a more aggressive and cleaner looking bike. Our thoughts harkened back to our early years spent riding in the dirt, on the trails and in the street (not so legal at 12 years old but, that was then) - so, we thought it would be cool to create a bike that would have the look and feel of a bike that could handle all of the above ... an Urban Scrambler! So here she is! The Honda still has that awesome rumble of the big in-line 4 cylinder 4 stroke bikes from the 70's breathing through a 4 into 1 pipe. Those new velocity stacks definitely help her to breath lots of air (along with some jetting)! We really like how she turned out ... for those folks familiar with these bikes, have a closer look to see all of the modifications and goodies incorporated in to this build.
Urban Scrambler Project Update:
We sold the CB750 scrambler build on ebay ... the new owner has now become a customer, a good friend and has commissioned additional work/builds with us. In addition, he decided to have us change the CB750 scrambler color scheme to reflect his favorite colors and to make the bike "his". To be honest, we were skeptical at first with his color choices but, once the final version started to come in to focus, we really liked the color choices ... we also changed out the velocity stacks for some K&N pod filters. Have a look!

She is truly a fun/comfortable bike to ride with a traditional riding position, has a nice rumble but not too loud and just makes you feel great knowing you are riding a bike that was made more than 45 years ago and is still reliable as a daily rider! Keep in mind that we did not build her to be a show bike, like all of our machines, she was built to ride ... every day if you prefer (which is what we prefer) - and maybe even in the dirt! We hope you like her as much as we do ... this one will be tough to part with for sure!
