1990 Suzuki VX800 Cafe-Fighter

We picked-up this ride from a neighbor - found it on Craigslist and realized the dude lived two streets down from us ... struck the deal and pushed it home. This is a typical bike story - the previous owner upgraded to a larger ride and let this one sit for several years and finally decided to get rid of it ... cheap!  After we cleaned the carbs and got her running, we started the transformation.  The original concept was a street fighter; however, it has developed in to kind of a Cafe-Fighter (if there is such a thing)- you guys be the judge.  She turned out to be a pretty cool bike with some aggressive characteristics and personality!  However, most of the dudes on the VX800 Forum absolutely hated her ... so ... we nailed it ;-) !!!  All we know is that the Owner, now a friend of the shop, lives in NYC and absolutely loves he ride - if you travel to the City, make sure you listen out for her - we are certain she sounds even more awesome echoing through that concrete jungle!!!
