2001 Honda 750 Shadow Hard-Tail Bobber
Another bike saved !!!
We have yet another example of a bike that was potentially headed to the grave-yard (or worse, to stay buried in a garage for the next couple of decades ... a slower death vs being picked apart at the local salvage yard!). We purchased this Honda locally from a good guy that just wanted to pass her on to someone that would put the love and care in to her that she deserved. She had already been slightly chopped-up as one can see from the before shots ... it was a bit scary to see that some of the structural pieces were being held together with ... holy crap ... bondo ?!?! After lots of thinking, chopping, more thinking, disassembling, fabricating/bending, welding, more welding, then some more welding, sanding, painting, reassembling and some fist bumping ... here is what we came-up with for our 2001 Honda 750 Shadow Hard-Tail Bobber ... we really focused on maintaining an overall subtle, clean and understated appearance that will be appreciated both from a afar and close-up. She looks almost black in the shade; however, get her out in the sun and the color comes alive (PPG Kona Coffee with fine red/blue/gold metal flake - see close-ups). She is an incredible build and will make the new owner very happy and the envy of many bobber owners out there! Thank you for looking! |
